This patient from Kentucky complained that her “loose skin was falling over eyes making it hard to see well and making it hard to hold her eyes open.” Her visual field impairment was due to the excessive skin. Dr. Kaye performed a brow lift and upper lid blepharoplasty.She is shown here at her pre-op and two month post- op appointments. At her two month appointment she states,“It is amazing to open my eyes and see everything. I can look out and see above my eye brows that were hanging in my eyes. I can see the ceiling and lights without lifting my head to see what was above me. My eyes always felt tired; I am sure it was due to my eyelids sagging in my eyes. I don’t have that feeling anymore.”
