Surgical Excision Photos - Case #57645

Patient Case #57645

This 58 year-old from Hopkinsville stated she was experiencing progressive pain on the left shoulder. She stated that it had been uncomfortable for many years, but now it was beginning to wake the patient up at night. She could no longer put pressure on this or sleep with her left arm extended and became tender to the touch. Dr. Kaye explained that this was an enlarging painful left arm lesion consistent with lipoma or lipomatous like lesion. He recommended an excision of the area for functional reasons. She is shown here at pre-op and one week post-op.
